Boston Bakery Crawl: Fall 2026

The Boston Bakery Crawl invites runners to explore the culinary delights of Boston and Cambridge on an 10-mile social run organized by Boston Road Runners, one of the city's most vibrant running communities. The route begins and ends at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Boylston Street in Back Bay.
Participants will wind their way through some of Boston’s most beloved neighborhoods—Back Bay, Allston, Cambridge, and the South End—as they make stops at four renowned independent bakeries along the course. At each bakery, runners collect a pre-arranged item before taking a brief break to savor local treats.
Each runner receives a custom numbered race bib that acts as their check-in credential for each stop. A bag drop area is available at the start line for convenience. Boston Road Runners will have an ambassador stationed at every bakery to manage traffic flow and ensure participants are properly checked in with their bibs.
The stops include:
- Blackbird Doughnuts, located near Fenway Park
- Sofra Bakery & Cafe in Allston
- Vester in Kendall Square, Cambridge
- Colette Bakery in the South End
This event adheres strictly to sidewalk and path rules without any road closures or city permits required. Participants must sign a digital waiver upon registration.
