The Boulieu Trail Association invites runners and hikers to explore the picturesque trails of northern Ardèche during their trail-running festival on October 2-3, 2026. The weekend offers a variety of distances for all levels, ranging from a family-friendly 5km walk to an exhilarating night run or full day adventure. On Friday evening at 8 PM, the festivities kick off with the 9KM NOCTURNE race under headlamps as participants navigate through the moonlit paths. The event continues into the night with a lively "cochon à la broche" feast to celebrate runners' achievements and camaraderie. The following day, Saturday, starts early at 9 AM when athletes set off for the challenging 50km and 30km races, winding through scenic landscapes that highlight Ardèche's natural beauty. Later in the morning, a non-competitive OCTOBRE ROSE walk takes place from 10:30 AM to raise awareness about breast cancer while promoting health and community spirit. Throughout the day, children can join shorter courses designed specifically for them, fostering an early love of outdoor activities. In the afternoon, runners tackle two more trails - a scenic 18km route along the Croix de Chirol and the charming 9km path to La Madone. Boulieu-les-Annonay welcomes visitors with its warm hospitality and stunning countryside setting, making this event not just about running but also discovering one of France's most beautiful regions. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a casual participant, there’s an adventure waiting for everyone at the Boulieu Trail Festival.
