Bread of Life Outreach Center Wellness Day 5K Trail Run

Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for an inspiring day of community engagement and wellness as we host the Bread of Life Outreach Center Wellness Day Trail Run. This year's lineup includes both a challenging 5K trail run and a leisurely 2-mile walk through Sprague Brook County Park in Glenwood, New York.
The event kicks off at 10:00 AM with registration starting at 8:30 AM outside the Warming Shelter near Foote Road. The first 100 registrants will receive an exclusive keepsake blanket as part of their race packet. Participants can also opt for mail-in registration, available until September 9th.
The scenic course winds through well-groomed trails and grassy areas within Sprague Brook Park, providing runners with a picturesque backdrop to enjoy the natural beauty while supporting a worthy cause. The park offers ample free parking along Foote Road near the Warming Hut, though participants are asked not to use designated campsite areas.
After crossing the finish line at approximately 10:30 AM, athletes will be treated to post-race festivities back at Bread of Life Outreach Center. Enjoy complimentary food and beverages while participating in various activities including raffles, children's entertainment, a wellness fair, and an art festival taking place nearby.
Awards for the top male and female finishers as well as age group winners (divided into 14-and-under through 70-plus categories) will be presented around 11:30 AM. All participants are encouraged to stick around until then to celebrate their achievements with fellow runners and community members.
