In the heart of winter on January 29, 2027, athletes will converge upon RCN Camping Zeewolde for an unconventional endurance challenge that pushes physical and mental boundaries. BREAKLINE Winter 2027 is designed to test runners in ways they've never experienced before, combining traditional running with a series of demanding physical challenges.
The event unfolds across multiple loops, each one unknown until race day, creating an element of surprise and unpredictability. As the night deepens and fatigue sets in, participants will face increasingly difficult obstacles that require not just strength but also mental resilience. Runners are encouraged to pace themselves wisely as they navigate through darkness, knowing there is no set finish line—only a personal decision when it's time to stop.
For those looking for an elite-level experience, the ELITE division awaits with mandatory weighted vests weighing 9 kg for men and 6 kg for women. This added challenge amplifies every step, making each loop feel like more than just another lap around the course.
The SCALED division offers a similar but less intense version of BREAKLINE's challenges, still providing athletes with an unforgettable battle against fatigue, doubt, and the urge to quit. Athletes in this category can opt for Basecamp upgrades that include their own 4x4 metre support area next to the start zone, complete with one crew wristband.
Throughout the event, BREAKLINE HQ will offer a range of food and beverages including coffee, tea, soup, fruit, and snacks to keep participants fueled. The race starts at 20:00 on Friday evening, setting the stage for an epic night under the stars.
