Start your Thanksgiving season by giving back, getting active, and having a whole lot of fun at the BreatheFL 5K Run/Walk Turkey Trot!

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, bringing the kids, or simply looking for a fun way to support a great cause, this family-friendly 5K is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. The race will take place around the scenic Ferry Park area in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, with the start and finish at Ferry Park.

And the best part? You’re not just crossing a finish line — you’re helping families breathe a little easier.

Your participation helps support BreatheFL Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families of children living with chronic respiratory illnesses. Funds raised through this event help BreatheFL provide resources, assistance, programs, and community support to families who face the challenges that come with chronic respiratory conditions.

 Race Details

Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026
Location: Ferry Park, Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Check-In: 8:00 AM
Race Start: 9:00 AM
Race Distance: 5K Run/Walk
Course: Outdoor course beginning and ending at Ferry Park
Course Time Limit: No time limit

There will be two water/aid stations along the course — one approximately halfway through the race and another at the finish.

 Race Shirt & Participation Medal

Every participant who registers by November 1 is guaranteed a commemorative race shirt and participation medal.

Registrations received after November 1 are still welcome, but race shirt availability is not guaranteed. Remaining shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
