Brentwood Community 5K

Race morning finds participants gathering in Brentwood's scenic parks, starting from Greenway Park at 7 AM when temperatures will range between 16.9°C to 27.3°C with an average of 22.1°C making for a comfortable race day. The atmosphere is festive and filled with the sounds of children playing in nearby fields and families enjoying the park’s green spaces.
Since its inception, this event has grown from strength to strength. In just three years, it's established itself as a beloved community tradition, drawing participants not only from Brentwood but also surrounding areas. The race offers both serious athletes and casual runners a chance to contribute to local scholarships while taking in the beauty of more than four parks and trails.
The course venue is a mix of park paths and trails, offering a hard and dry surface that’s perfect for chip timing by Start2Finish Race Management. Runners will enjoy a varied route through Brentwood's lush green spaces with notable features such as gentle hills and scenic views of the cityscape. The 5K race begins at Greenway Park and concludes in the same location, making it easy to navigate back after crossing the finish line.
The start and elevation for both races are minimal but participants will find themselves navigating a few slight inclines throughout the course. There won’t be any official aid stations; however, post-race snacks await at the finish area where awards ceremonies take place for top finishers. Weather conditions on race day can bring some wind with an average of 8.5 km/h and humidity around 67.7%, but generally, it feels comfortable with temperatures in a mild range.
