Brevik Trail Run 2025 returns for its third consecutive year, setting up camp once again on Östgötadagarna weekend. This family-friendly event offers runners of all ages and skill levels the chance to experience a unique blend of trail running and outdoor adventure.
The race features three distinct courses: a challenging 8k route designed exclusively for adults, an intermediate 5k option open to both youth and adult competitors, and a shorter but spirited 3k course tailored specifically for young participants born before 2012. The event begins at 10:30 AM with the longer distances, followed by a special children's race starting at noon.
Brevik Camp is transformed into an active hub of activities during Östgötadagarna, providing runners and spectators alike with additional entertainment options such as zipline adventures, high ropes courses, canoeing sessions, and evening bonfires. Participants can take advantage of the camp’s facilities to cool off after their run or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
For those planning an overnight stay, Brevik Camp offers comfortable cabins for rent directly through its website. The staff is available to assist with all booking details and provide information on local attractions and activities. While showers are readily accessible at the site, a refreshing dip in the nearby waters is highly recommended after your run.
