About the Event

The Quincy Medical Group Foundation Bridge the Gap to Health Race celebrates its 26th year on Saturday, May 9, 2026. This community-driven event is held to support local nonprofit initiatives, with the 2026 proceeds specifically benefiting Connect Child and Family Solutions. The funds will renovate a visitation space in Quincy designed to help children in foster care maintain vital connections with their families. Participants in the 10K and Half Marathon experience a unique course that crosses the Bayview Bridge into Missouri and returns via the Memorial Bridge back into Illinois, covering two states in a single race.

Packet pickup is available on Friday, May 8, at the Quincy Medical Building or on race morning at the park. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual 5K option is offered at a flat rate of $35.
