Brighter Futures 5K

About the Event

Join us for our 8th annual Brighter Futures 5K on the Lancaster Junction Recreation Trail.

All proceeds from the 5K directly support the Friends of Pam Reynolds Memorial Scholarship, part of Kids' Chance of PA's named scholar partner program.

This is a professional, chip-timed event on a crushed stone trail that is flat, shaded, and scenic. Bring your whole family and enjoy a wonderful morning out in the country!

Race Amenities

Goody bag if pre-registered by 10/24
Door prizes (must be present to win)
Water station, restrooms and free parking
Pre-race coffee and post-race refreshment

5K In-Person Awards

1st Male/Female Overall Winners: $100
2nd Male/Female Overall Winners: $50
3rd Male/Female Overall Winners: $25

Recognition for top three male/female finishers in age groups: 19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+

You must be present to receive your award--they will not be mailed.

5K Race - Virtual Option

Want to participate but can't make it on November 8th? Select the virtual option during registration. Virtual participants won't receive swag bags or awards, but if you submit your time by Monday, November 10th, you will be entered into a drawing for an Amazon gift certificate.
