Bromsgrove 5k Fun Run and 10k for Blood Cancer UK 2027

Join the Bromsgrove Blood Cancer UK 2027 Runs to support vital research into blood cancer. This annual event features both a challenging 10k run and a family-friendly 5k fun run, with early bird registration starting on January 1st for £23 (5k) or £28 (10k). Regular pricing applies from February onwards at £25 and £30 respectively. On the day registrations are available but cost more at £35.
Participants will enjoy a scenic route through Bromsgrove, with the 5k course offering just under 6 kilometers of varied terrain that includes some inclines. The 10k run presents an even tougher challenge, complete with steeper climbs and longer distances over hilly sections. All runners who cross the finish line receive a commemorative medal, while top male and female finishers in each event are awarded additional prizes.
Children aged between 8 and 14 years can participate; under-12s must be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons. For those aiming to raise funds, there’s no set minimum but reaching £30 before the day of the race will earn you a running t-shirt on-site. You can create your own fundraising page or make one-off donations through dedicated platforms.
The event is managed in collaboration with Rider HQ and supported by local businesses such as Gateway2Lease, Ormerod Rutter, Phoenix Flooring & Bedrooms, and French classes provided by Nicole Harris via Zoom. These sponsors help ensure that every penny raised goes directly towards life-saving research into blood cancer treatments and patient care initiatives.
