A heartwarming 5K trail running celebration dedicated to Cst. Brett Adam, who is bravely battling Guillain Barre Syndrome. The event will take place on September 13, 2026, at Whittier and Lagimodiere-Gaboury Parks in Old St. Boniface, Winnipeg. Race participants should gather by the Greenspace east of the Fort Gibraltar parking lot (located at 866 Rue St. Joseph) at 2 PM for the start of the event. A half-way point with an aid station and spectator viewing area will be situated near the unnamed green space off Rue Maisonnevue, providing runners with much-needed support along their journey. This inclusive race welcomes participants from all walks of life—police officers, civilians, adults, and children alike—and accommodates various fitness levels. Whether you run, jog, or walk at your own pace, this event is designed to be accessible for everyone. For those seeking a more relaxed experience with fewer technical trails and less elevation gain, an alternate path will also be available on race day. Join us in honoring Cst. Brett Adam's courage while enjoying the scenic beauty of Winnipeg’s Old St. Boniface parks.
