About the Event

The Bruny Island Ultra Marathon is a family-friendly event that welcomes participants of all ages, including children as young as 10 years old* This unique event offers two distances: a 42.2km run and the 64km ultra-marathon. Both have options for solo runners or a relay-style event where teams of up to 10 people can share the distance.

About North Bruny

North Bruny is a rural locality on Bruny Island in the local government area of Kingborough in the Hobart region of Tasmania. It is located about 34 kilometres (21 mi) north-east of the town of Alonnah, the largest town on the island. The 2016 census determined a population of 95 for the state suburb of North Bruny.
