For cyclists looking to compete in this exciting race, it's essential to visit Rad-Net.de for detailed registration information. Participants must ensure they have a valid license or day pass prior to signing up; exceptions are made for casual and fat tire events.
Registration through the Race-Result Portal does not replace the necessary licensing requirements. Day passes can be acquired via the Rad-Net License Portal at https://lizenzen.rad-net.de/. Timing typically relies on transponder technology, which each rider must attach securely to their bicycle's front fork near the jury bus side for accurate results.
Transponders placed elsewhere, such as on handlebars or in jersey pockets, may not be detected. Riders without a designated transponder might face disqualification. Only transponders from RSV-Timing are accepted; other brands will not work with this system. After completing the race, riders must return their transponders at the number collection point.
To conserve battery life on unused transponders during non-competition times, participants should avoid lingering near finish lines when they're not actively racing. The starting position is generally two meters in front of the finishing line directly under the finish arch unless otherwise specified by race officials. Numbers must be displayed prominently and clearly visible from behind, facing toward the jury bus for easy identification.
This event promises a challenging yet rewarding experience with strict adherence to technical regulations ensuring fair competition among all participants.
