Devon's Running Events invites you to join them for an exciting and flexible challenge: The Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1, set to take place on September 12th, 2027. This unique event operates under the "TUGG" system—Turn Up Get Going—which allows participants to start at any time between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but requires everyone to complete their journey by 3:30 PM.
The course winds along a picturesque, disused train line that has been transformed into a scenic running route. Each lap measures precisely 5.3 kilometers out and back, making it an ideal setting for runners of all abilities. The well-maintained tarmac surface ensures safety while the varied terrain offers both flat stretches and gentle inclines.
Participants can choose to walk or run as much—or as little—as they wish within the given time frame. Whether you complete one lap or fourteen, every finisher will be awarded a medal celebrating their achievement. This event is designed for everyone from casual walkers looking to enjoy a leisurely pace along the route to more competitive runners aiming to rack up multiple laps.
With limited spots available, it's recommended that interested participants sign up early to secure their place and ensure they receive one of the official medals. If capacity is reached, latecomers will still be welcomed with a specially designed medal selected from those present on race day.
