Caledon Crusher

Caledon Crusher, set for Saturday, April 10, 2027, promises an unforgettable trail running experience along the scenic Caledon Hills section of the Bruce Trail. This challenging and picturesque race offers three distances: a half marathon (25k), a full marathon (50k), and an epic End-to-End (E2E) trek spanning 72 kilometers.
The course winds through undulating terrain, marked exclusively by the white blazes characteristic of the Bruce Trail. The trails are renowned for their technical sections and steep climbs that will test even the most seasoned trail runners. Participants can expect a mix of singletrack paths and double tracks with stunning views around every turn.
For those tackling the 50k or E2E distances, mandatory gear includes items such as a toque or beanie, cell phone, rain jacket, hydration pack (with at least one liter of water), and a headlamp for night runners. A pre-race briefing will take place on the bus that transports participants from Mono Community Centre in Mono to their respective start points.
The race features seven fully stocked aid stations along its route, providing essential supplies like Skratch Labs products, water, ice, chips, pop, cookies and more. These strategically placed stations offer runners a chance to refuel before continuing on the challenging terrain ahead.
Registration for Caledon Crusher opens in July 2026, with early bird registrants receiving additional perks such as race bibs, event t-shirts, unique finisher medals, and high-resolution photos from Sue Sitki Photo. Post-race meals will be provided by Mono Cliffs Inn to help runners recover after their grueling efforts.
Awards are given out to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers in each race category. Safety is paramount at Caledon Crusher; participants must adhere strictly to rules prohibiting dogs or strollers on course (except for leashed animals at start/finish areas).
With limited parking available, organizers encourage carpooling among competitors to reduce environmental impact while maximizing the event's community spirit and camaraderie.
