CAMPEONATO ESTADUAL DE AQUATHLON - 2026

Immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Rio de Janeiro as you take part in the Brazilian Aquathlon Championship's opening stage on October 18, 2026. This unique race is framed by the stunning Baía da Guanabara with iconic landmarks like the Pão de Açúcar and Christ the Redeemer overlooking your journey.
The course begins with a protected swim along the inner beach area for adults covering 750 meters before transitioning to run around an athletics track, where you'll complete two and a half laps totaling 1.95 kilometers followed by another round of running for 1.65 kilometers. For younger competitors, distances vary: children aged 8-11 years swim 100 meters and run 500 meters; those between ages 12 to 15 cover 200 meters in the water and one kilometer on land.
The event features elite categories for registered athletes alongside age groups ranging from under 7 up through seniors aged 70+. The race is designed with a flat course, avoiding the challenging climb of Forte Velho. Prizes include trophies for top finishers across various divisions and medals for all who complete their respective distances.
Registration fees vary based on date and federation status, offering discounts to minors, senior competitors over age 60, and base category participants. All race completers receive a participation medal, while the first ten overall winners gain free entry into future stages of the championship series if they are registered members in good standing with their federations.
