About the Event

Family-friendly run/walk! Timed events: 5K, 10K or 1 mile options that will take you through historic downtown Cape Charles overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.

Note: start time will be STAGGERED for the 5K (9:15 A.M.), 10K (9:00 A.M.) and 1 mile(9:25 A.M.). All events require registration and include a t-shirt, timed event, post run after party with live music, kids activities, snacks and a finisher medal (3rd in a series of 4).

Runners and walkers can opt to participate in the color portion – and be sprayed with bright, fun, harmless, and environmentally safe colors. This color zone will be available for all events: 10k, 5k and 1 mile.

Free Kids’ Dash will be organized in front of Strawberry Plaza at the conclusion of other events so round up those kiddos and bring them along!

We will also have our second annual Wheelchair Accessible Race!

About Cape Charles

Cape Charles is a town in Eastern Virginia, at the southern tip of the Delmarva peninsula. It used to be the terminus of the eastern shore railway and still has an operating rail-to-barge ferry terminal with freight service to Norfolk. It has the feel of a time gone by.
