Carolina Lakes Turkey Trot '26

Join the Carolina Lakes community and their guests at the CL Clubhouse for an engaging 5k run or walk, set to take place at 9 AM sharp. This scenic out-and-back course begins from the bustling clubhouse parking lot and heads right onto Carolina Way. Participants will enjoy a gentle stretch along this route before turning around just past Cedar & Canterbury streets, making their way back to the welcoming arms of the CL Clubhouse for the finish line.
The event promises more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to celebrate fall with friends and family. After crossing the finish line, runners can unwind at a post-race stretch session led by the talented yoga instructors from Carolina Lakes Residence. Food trucks will be on site offering hot beverages and snacks, providing sustenance for all who have taken part in the event or are cheering from the sidelines.
For those looking to extend their day’s activities beyond running, there is plenty more to enjoy at a community fall festival that follows immediately after the race. Families can explore various vendors while kids dive into fun-filled autumn-themed games and crafts.
Registration fees vary depending on when you sign up:
- Early Bird Registration (until October 31): $30 for individual racers or opt for a family package where two individuals pay $30 each, with additional members receiving a generous 50% discount. A student/school team race package is also available at just $15 per racer when registering together in groups of ten.
- Late Registration (November 1 - November 21): Individual racers will be charged $40 or the same family and school packages but with slightly higher rates.
Race t-shirts are a special perk for early registrants, as they ensure the first 175 participants who sign up by October 31 receive one. Those registering later may still have options to purchase shirts on-site if supplies last.
