Experience the charm of autumn at the annual Carolina Lakes Turkey Trot, taking place on November 21st in Sanford, North Carolina. This family-friendly race offers participants an opportunity to support local education programs while enjoying picturesque fall scenery.
Early bird registration is available until October 31st for just $30 plus processing fees. For those who miss out or want a late start, Late Registration opens from November 1st through the 22nd at $40 plus processing fees. A Family 5K option is also available for families and friends to enjoy together.
The race kicks off at 8:00 AM sharp on November 21st, with participants starting from the Carolina Lakes Residence clubhouse parking lot. Bibs can be picked up between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM on race day from the CL Clubhouse. Valid photo ID is required to verify age requirements (minimum of 16 years old or accompanied by an adult).
This event caters to all runners, whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your running journey. The course weaves through scenic trails and parks, providing a memorable experience for every participant.
