Carso Trail

Carso Trail is the bikepacking event that, over the years, has solidified its charm and renown among adventure cycling enthusiasts. Its appeal lies in the uniqueness of the route, the distinctive beauty of its landscapes, and its consistently attentive and well-organized hospitality.
The trail’s greatest strength is its remarkable diversity of environments. From the seaside cliffs of the Trieste Coast to the emerald hues of the Isonzo River in its inland stretches, and above all, the rugged Karst plateau with its intense colors and scents. Along the way, riders encounter the mysterious forests of Tarnova and the lush green pastures of nearby Goriška.
The true star of this “no border adventure,” however, is the border itself, guiding us to places that are geographically close yet often culturally distant. Riding these trails can feel like stepping back in time, where nature remains untouched and life unfolds according to rhythms and rituals long forgotten elsewhere.
Since 2024, Carso Trail has offered a completely renewed edition, combining two additional routes with the classic one, making it an even more thrilling and unique experience in a truly astonishing land.
