Carver Old Home Day, celebrating its rich tradition since 1901, invites you to join in festivities that bring together families and neighbors. The day is marked by a variety of events including live music, handcrafted gifts, classic car cruises, horseshoe tournaments, clambakes, and fireworks displays. For runners, the highlight is the 5-Miler Road Race which commences at Shurtleff Park at 8:00 am on July 26th. This scenic race loops through picturesque back roads and bogs before returning to its starting point in the park. Participants will enjoy a unique running experience amidst the charming landscapes of Carver, Massachusetts—perfect for both seasoned runners and casual walkers who wish to push their limits or simply explore the town's beauty. Online registration is open until July 24th at 11:59 pm; onsite registration is also available on race day. Walkers are welcome, but please note that running strollers start from behind for safety reasons. Dogs are not permitted to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
