CASSINO ULTRA RACE 2027 A MAIOR ULTRAMARATONA DE PRAIA DO MUNDO

About the Event

The Cassino Ultra Race 2027 is set to challenge the world's most daring endurance runners with its unique blend of remote coastal navigation and extreme weather conditions along the southern coast of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This epic ultramarathon begins on March 25, 2027, at Barra de Rio Grande and concludes four days later in Barra do Chuí.
Competitors will face a rigorous test that includes partial self-sufficiency and navigating through remote areas. The race features diverse distances: the longest being an arduous 230 km trek with a strict time limit of 53 hours, while shorter options are also available for those seeking less daunting challenges.
The event kicks off on March 26th at 9:00 AM in Barra de Rio Grande and culminates on the morning of March 28th, when runners will gather again in Barra do Chuí to celebrate their achievements.
Participants can expect a grueling course that exposes them to harsh coastal elements such as strong winds, shifting tides, soft sand, and nighttime navigation. The race's logistics include transportation options from nearby airports like Salgado Filho International Airport in Porto Alegre or Pelotas airport, along with bus services connecting major cities.
Upon completion of the race, runners will be treated to a ceremony at Barra do Chuí where awards are presented and camaraderie is celebrated. The event promises an unforgettable adventure for those ready to push their limits on one of the world's most unique ultramarathon courses.
