Since its founding in 1969, Causeway Cars and Causeway CARes have been dedicated to addressing pressing community issues such as homelessness, food insecurity, education support for youth, senior care services, and veteran assistance programs within Ocean County. The annual Causeway 5k race, which began in 2018, has played a pivotal role in raising more than $500,000 to uplift the lives of local residents.
This year's event promises to be another impactful gathering where participants will not only enjoy running through scenic Ocean County but also contribute significantly to community causes. All proceeds from this race are donated directly to non-profit organizations operating within Ocean County that focus on improving quality of life for its citizens.
Running enthusiasts can look forward to a well-organized 5k course, complete with hydration stations and medical support along the route. The atmosphere is lively, filled with enthusiastic supporters cheering runners on every step of the way. Whether you're an avid runner or someone looking to make a difference in your community, this event offers a unique blend of physical challenge and social impact.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, offering businesses and individuals the chance to support the cause while gaining visibility for their own efforts:
- Silver Sponsor: $250 - Name on lower back of T-shirt
- Gold Sponsor: $350 - Name on middle back of T-shirt
- Platinum Sponsor: $500 - Logo on back of T-shirt
- Diamond Sponsors: $750 and up - Logo placement at the starting line or finish line, logo towards top of shirt.
- Race Sponsor: $1000 and up - Same as Diamond sponsor but with a stand-alone banner.
Individual donations are also welcome, allowing non-business donors to contribute from $25 upwards. These contributions ensure that your name will be recognized on the back of T-shirts worn by race participants.
