About the Event

Corpus Christi Neighborhood Fitness invites the community to embrace an active lifestyle at Oso Bay Wetlands on Saturday, September 12, 2026. This free event aims to foster healthier choices and encourage physical activity among residents of all ages.
Participants can pick up their bibs from 6:45 AM to 7:30 AM on the day of the race at Oso Bay Wetlands (located at 2446 N. Oso Pkwy). The event kicks off with a scenic 5K run starting promptly at 7:30 AM, followed by Zumba and yoga sessions beginning at 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM respectively.
The running route takes runners through the serene wetlands of Oso Bay Wetlands. With its natural beauty and diverse wildlife, this course offers a unique backdrop for participants to enjoy while they run or walk their way around the 5K loop. For those interested in other forms of fitness, Zumba enthusiasts can join at 8:00 AM and yoga practitioners are encouraged to bring their own mats for an outdoor session starting at 9:00 AM.
