The Rocky Hill Cyclocross Series, set for August and September, invites enthusiasts of all skill levels to participate in this vibrant 4-week training series. Located within the picturesque town park, each Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM onwards offers a unique blend of practice sessions and competitive races. For those looking to hone their skills or simply enjoy cycling, junior riders aged nine and up are welcome to join the no-pressure Junior Practice Session at 5:00 PM. The session is hosted by CCAP staff and regional team coaches, ensuring a fun and safe environment for all participants. The main event kicks off with races starting from 5:35 PM on Wednesdays for junior racers, followed by an open race at 6:15 PM. With USA Cycling licenses required, new riders or Category 5 riders can purchase one-day beginner licenses for $15 to join in the fun. The event is not just about racing; it's a community effort.
