Welcome to the Danish Grand Prix Single Start Series, one of Denmark's premier cycling events for both competitive and recreational riders. This series is organized in collaboration with CeramicSpeed and Ringkøbing Landbobank and comprises four separate races on Thursday evenings throughout 2026, each starting at 18:00. The event offers a unique blend of competition and camaraderie across various age groups and categories. Participants can choose to compete in individual events or aim for the grand prize by completing all four stages. The series features classes for standard racing bikes as well as single-speed bicycles, catering to both men and women with separate divisions based on age. For younger cyclists, there are special categories for boys and girls aged 9-10 years, 11-14 years, and 15-17 years. These young racers have their own dedicated routes designed to accommodate different skill levels while providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience. All race courses are meticulously planned with traffic officials stationed at key points along the way for safety and support. Electronic timing ensures accurate results and fair competition among participants. The final standings, awarded after the fourth event in August 2026, recognize top performers based on accumulated points from three out of four races. In case of a tie, placement in the last race determines the winner. Each stage takes place at unique locations across Denmark: Struer, Vemb, Herning, and Borbjerg. Detailed maps for each route are available online to help riders plan their training and ensure they arrive prepared on event day. Entry fees vary depending on participation level; a single event costs 175 DKK while all four events together cost 500 DKK. Younger participants aged 11-14 years and 15-17 years pay a reduced entry fee of 150 DKK per race or 350 DKK for the full series. Registration is essential to secure your spot, as places are limited on a first-come-first-served basis. Once registered, participants will receive detailed start lists via email prior to each event. Be sure to include an estimated time over 30 kilometers when registering to assist with proper placement in the starting lineup. Ensure you bring a certified helmet and adhere strictly to drafting regulations during the race. The series is conducted under strict adherence to Danish traffic laws, ensuring safety for all participants. For those unable to compete due to unforeseen circumstances, start numbers can be transferred to another rider through your registration email link provided upon sign-up. This allows flexibility in participation without penalty when plans change unexpectedly. Join us at the CeramicSpeed Grand Prix Single Start Series and experience the thrill of cycling on some of Denmark's most scenic routes alongside fellow enthusiasts who share a passion for speed, endurance, and camaraderie.
