Cereal Killer 15k Trail Run

Welcome to the Red Mill County Park edition of the Crazy Legs Race Series on March 7, 2027. This unique race takes place at Red Mill County Park located at 815 South Holmesville Road, Laporte, IN 46350. Participants will gather at the Smith Banquet building for packet pick-up and day-of registration.
The event features a challenging four-loop course that covers a total distance of 15 kilometers. Each loop is clearly marked with flags and signs to guide runners through the scenic park terrain. The race organizers emphasize paying attention to these markers rather than following other participants, ensuring everyone stays on track.
Upon completion of your run, you'll receive a popsicle stick with a number that corresponds to your finishing time. This unique timing method adds an element of fun while keeping things low-key and informal. Medal winners for overall top finishers and the first three in each age group will be announced once their sticks are turned into the packet pick-up area.
Every participant receives a limited-edition short sleeve shirt, but if these sell out before your arrival, you'll get a winter hat and gloves instead as part of this year's theme. The race celebrates all things cereal with post-race refreshments including various cereals served with milk options such as 2%, almond, or non-dairy milk.
In addition to the main event, there will be items from past Crazy Legs Race Series events available for purchase at $5 each, featuring a variety of t-shirts, hats, and coffee cups. This race is part of CLRS's mission to promote both pavement and off-road races in Northwest Indiana, offering runners an engaging course design within parks across Lake, Porter, and Laporte counties.
The Crazy Legs Race Series welcomes all individuals regardless of their background or identity, ensuring a supportive environment for everyone who participates. Transgender athletes are encouraged to register according to the gender they identify with without needing any documentation. The race organizers also acknowledge and honor the original inhabitants of the land on which this event takes place—the Miami, Shawnee, Illinois Nations, and Lenape (Delaware) refugees who once called this area home.
