About the Event

Join us for the Charcu'trails festival on September 6, 2026, where runners of all levels can enjoy an array of challenging and scenic trail runs through the stunning mountains. The centerpiece is the Montalet Trail, a rigorous 25km route with a total elevation gain of 1000 meters, winding its way along breathtaking mountain paths that offer panoramic views at every turn.
For those seeking something shorter but still exhilarating, the Lou Cambatsou race covers 12 kilometers and features an ascent of 300 meters. This course offers runners a taste of the region's rugged terrain while maintaining accessibility for less experienced trail enthusiasts.
The event also includes a family-friendly Bougnette hike that spans 5km with an elevation gain similar to the Lou Cambatsou route, making it ideal for those looking for a leisurely day out in nature. Additionally, children can participate in their own races over distances of either 1000 meters or 2 kilometers.
Packets and race numbers will be available on Saturday, September 5th from 5:00 PM onwards at the event venue. On Sunday morning, starting at 7:15 AM, participants can collect any remaining packets before heading out to enjoy their chosen course. Whether you're an avid trail runner or a casual hiker looking for adventure, Charcu'trails promises an unforgettable experience amidst beautiful landscapes and enthusiastic company.
