About the Event

The fifth annual Frosty 5K is proudly sponsored by the Natick High Track and Field and XC Boosters. This USATF certified 5K event supports over 300 high school athletes who compete each year in Cross Country, Winter Indoor Track and Field, and Spring Outdoor Track and Field.100% of the proceeds will provide athletes with essential equipment to enhance training quality, fund fun events like end-of-year banquets, cover need based travel costs for postseason and national competitions, and support further training and educational opportunities for the coaching staff.We are also pleased to continue our partnership with SPARK Kindness, a unique grassroots force in the national kindness movement. SPARK Kindness addresses vulnerable and emotional issues to cultivate skills for caring and equity. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to this wonderful cause!The first 200 registrants will receive the annual Frosty 5K beanie hat.Race participants will enjoy music, vendors, and many raffles! Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in eight categories, as well as the top overall male and female finishers.

Charlestown is the oldest neighborhood in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States. Also called Mishawum by the Massachusett, it is located on a peninsula north of the Charles River, across from downtown Boston, and also adjoins the Mystic River and Boston Harbor waterways. Charlestown was laid out in 1629 by engineer Thomas Graves, one of its earliest settlers, during the reign of Charles I of England. It was originally a separate town and the first capital of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
