Concord and Carlisle Time Trial, an exhilarating cycling experience, invites all levels of cyclists to participate. This event requires pre-registration through BikeReg; no on-site sign-ups are permitted. Registration deadlines stand firm at 4:30 PM the day before the race. Participants should gather early for a mandatory riders' meeting scheduled at 6 PM in the designated lot area. The course map, available online via RideWithGPS and Strava segments, provides clear directions and highlights essential points of interest along your route. Weather conditions significantly influence event decisions; if heavy rain is forecasted into late afternoon or evening, organizers may cancel early. Thunderstorms are given a bit more leeway, as the race can often proceed despite brief showers. Upon completion, celebrate by shouting out your start number as you cross the finish line—a tradition that adds to the camaraderie among riders. Results will be shared on both the Concord and Carlisle Time Trial (CBTT) Google group and posted on the Northeast Bicycle Club's Facebook page for all participants to see. Remember, this is a non-competitive event under USAC Non-Competitive Permit, so there’s no need for licenses or permits—just your working bike and helmet. As guests of Concord and Carlisle, maintain courtesy towards motorists by refraining from any yelling or gestures during the race. Safety remains paramount; please adhere to all posted signs and road rules throughout the course. Enjoy the scenic route while challenging yourself in a relaxed setting that focuses on personal performance rather than competition. RIDE SAFELY!
