This autumn event is held in Chiba City, with the Inage Seaside Park area as its setting. The program is unusually broad: full marathon, 30 km, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, 3 km and 1.5 km races for individuals, plus a 1.5 km dog run, a 1.5 km family race and a pair race for two runners who start, run and finish together. Relay teams (ekiden) take on the full marathon with 4 to 14 members or the half marathon with 4 to 7 members, passing a single sash, and one runner may cover as many laps as the team wishes. Relay fees are a 2,000 yen team registration plus 3,000 yen per person. A tomato station and food trucks add to the day, and the organizers recommend entering early for the popular relay and family categories.
