The Chiltern Ridge Classic 50K on Saturday, 18 April 2026, is a stunning point-to-point ultra marathon that connects the historic Berkhamsted Castle with the finish in Wendover via the very best of the Chiltern Hills. As a UTMB World Series Index Race, it offers a classic 51km route with nearly 1000m of ascent, traversing the famed Ridgeway National Trail from Ivinghoe Beacon across Coombe Hill to Whiteleaf. You'll experience the breathtaking views, ancient woodlands, and rolling chalk hills that define this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a fully marked course, three well-stocked aid stations featuring Precision Fuel & Hydration, and a 9-hour time limit, this event is designed to be both a challenging and exceptionally well-supported introduction to the ultra distance.
