Starting September 12-13 at Shenniu Square in the Laoniuwan Yellow River Grand Canyon scenic area, Qingshuihe County, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, this race offers 100K, 75K, 54K, and 27K distances. The 100K (96.7km actual, 3,580m gain/loss) starts Sept 12 8:30 with a 26-hour cutoff; the 75K (74.8km, 2,851m gain/loss) starts 8:30 with a 20-hour cutoff; the 54K (53.6km, 2,190m gain/loss) starts 8:30 with a 14-hour cutoff; the 27K (27km, 1,186m gain/loss) starts 8:30 with an 8-hour cutoff.
Autumn color spreads across loess gullies where the Great Wall meets the nine bends of the Yellow River -- a trail race through the canyon where wall and river cross, past quiet ancient villages, with elite, intermediate, and lighter distances built for every level of trail runner.
