Starting and finishing at Tangshan Quarry Park in the Tangshan Hot Spring Resort, Nanjing, this race runs October 17-18 with a 3,000-runner cap across "Chasing the Moon" 92km (500 spots), "Breaking the Wind" 50km (700 spots), "Bathing in Mountains" 35km (800 spots), and "Exploring the Wild" 25km (1,000 spots). Registration opens May 20 at 10:00 through September 19, with early-bird pricing through June 30. The 92km (96.06km actual, 3,823m gain / 3,824m descent, ITRA ~4 points), billed as an ideal first-100K course, starts 7:30 with a 26-hour cutoff; the 50km (54.84km, 2,058m gain / 2,061m descent, ITRA ~2 points) starts 7:30 with a 13-hour cutoff; the 35km (37.84km, 1,386m gain / 1,387m descent, ITRA ~2 points) starts 8:00 with a 9-hour cutoff; the 25km (25.81km, 860m gain / 861m descent, ITRA ~1 point) starts 9:00 with a 6-hour cutoff. Upgraded this year to a national-level trail event, the 92km climbs a modest 3,800m with a generous 26-hour cutoff, and aid stations stocked with local specialties -- chicken soup, sesame flatbread, duck blood soup, Nanjing salted duck -- rather than just gels. What sets it apart: finishers head straight into Tangshan's thousand-year-old hot springs, turning the finish line into the start of a spa day.
