Christmas Classic 5K and Fun Run

Join us on December 13th, 2025 at the Arab City Park Historical Village for the Christmas Classic 5K and Fun Run presented by Lifespring Baptist Church of Arab.  The event will be timed but there will be no time limits, so join us whether you’re running for a personal best or if you’re just wanting to walk, hop, skip or dance along the course to enjoy all the sights and sounds of the Christmas season.   Costumes and Christmas attire are welcome.

The 5K will start just after sunset, so most of the event will take place after dark.  There will be glow in the dark items passed out at packet pick up, but all participants are encouraged to bring a small flashlight to use during the event.   

The Fun Run will be for children 12 and under and will be approximately 0.6 mile.  Adults can participate with children in the Fun Run for free. (T-Shirt not included, but can be purchased)

Awards Ceremony – Immediately following the Fun Run

This is a Christmas celebration you will not want to miss.  

Packet pickup and late registration will be at Lifespring Baptist Church in Arab from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday December 12th and at the Arab City Park Historical Village from Noon until 4:45PM on race day.  

You will need to sign up online by November 29th to guarantee shirt.

Note that this Christmas season the main entrance to Arab City Park is closed due to construction and the only entrance will be from the South side, which is from Fry Gap Road.  The address is City Park Drive NE, Arab, AL 35016.
