Chubb Trail Races invites trail runners of all levels to experience an unforgettable adventure at West Tyson County Park in Eureka, Missouri. Whether you're a seasoned ultrarunner or just starting out on the trails, this race has something special for everyone. The event features a 25K Ruck Challenge where participants must carry a minimum weight of 20 pounds (excluding food and water) throughout the entire course. This unique twist adds an extra layer of challenge to the already scenic trail run. Regardless of your experience level in rucking, this race will push you both physically and mentally. The main event takes place on April 1-2, 2027, with packet pickup available at Des Peres Fleet Feet on Friday from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm or at the park entrance on race day starting at 7:00 am. The course is lined with aid stations every few miles, offering essential supplies such as bananas, pretzels, potatoes, chips, water, and electrolytes to keep runners fueled throughout their journey. West Tyson County Park offers a serene backdrop for this event, combining the beauty of nature with challenging terrain that will test your endurance. The park's trails wind through lush forests and open fields, providing breathtaking views at every turn. Participants can look forward to enjoying live music and good food after crossing the finish line, making it an ideal day out for both runners and spectators. For those interested in the 25K Ruck Event, be prepared to carry your designated weight from start to finish while navigating the park's varied terrain. All participants who complete this challenge will receive a well-deserved finisher’s medal. Registration details include no refunds but allows bib transfers until March 31, 2027. Drop bags can be placed at the entrance and will be moved to the halfway point of the 50K course for easy access during your run. Make sure to clearly label any items left in drop zones as they must be collected before departure; unclaimed items will go to charity.
