Welcome to the Cliffs Edge Challenge 2026 Imagine setting off on an adventure through some of New South Wales' most scenic backroads. After days spent cycling on mint gravel paths, you'll find solace at the cozy SteamPacket Hotel, sipping a refreshing drink while watching the sun dip below the horizon. The promise of a well-deserved feed and comfortable camping awaits as you prepare for another day of adventure. This is Cliffs Edge Challenge – an event that builds upon its predecessor, the Bushranger series, which celebrates the notorious Clarke brothers who operated in southern New South Wales during the mid-1860s. Thomas and John Clarke were known for their daring rustling activities, ambushes on gold shipments, and robberies along the Braidwood to Bega route. The event spans two days of gravel cycling with three distinct courses to choose from: a short 35km per day option, a medium 55km course daily, or an epic 95km long course reserved for Saturday only. There's also a one-day adventure available if you're keen on a shorter challenge. Your entry fee includes more than just riding; it encompasses the entire weekend experience: - Professional photography from ReadyAimMedia - On-course feed zones and mechanical support - Comprehensive insurance with local council approval Additional perks await, including your very own limited edition commemorative patch. And for those who enter early, there's a chance to win some fantastic prizes generously donated by our sponsors. The overnight experience is designed as a social cycling event rather than a race. To fully enjoy the activity: - Fuel your body with appropriate nutrition for extended rides - Maintain an average speed of 15-20 kph - Be familiar with navigating and following GPX routes - Possess basic mechanical skills to handle minor repairs like punctures, tire issues, chain breaks, or gear malfunctions For families looking to participate together: - Choose the "Short Course Family Entry" option for two or more riders from a single address. Group discounts are also available: 10% off when registering ten or more participants in one transaction. Simply gather your group and enter details through our registration system, creating an account if necessary before confirming and accepting the waiver terms. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable weekend of cycling adventure along New South Wales' finest gravel roads – Cliffs Edge Challenge awaits!
