Welcome to the Winter Wonderland Indoor Triathlon, an exhilarating competition designed for all skill levels—from seasoned triathletes to first-timers. This unique indoor event offers a seamless experience with three distinct phases: swimming, cycling on stationary bikes, and running or walking on a track. The swim segment is a 10-minute challenge in the heated pool where participants will compete against their own pace. You'll start at your designated time between 8 AM and 9:45 AM based on your swim performance during check-in. The event ensures a supportive environment with professional management, providing comfort and success for athletes of all abilities. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a race bib and be directed to the change rooms where you can get changed into your swimming attire or even complete the entire triathlon in them. Lockers are available for storing personal belongings, and restrooms will be open for use before heading onto the deck. A swim cap and goggles are provided. As soon as you're ready, a group leader assigned to your heat will guide you through the lanes with others of similar pace. The swim is counter-clockwise; simply enter at one end when directed by your leaders and exit at the other after completing 10 minutes or more if desired. Transitioning from pool to bike involves moving quickly but efficiently back to change rooms, drying off, and setting up a stationary bike for the next phase of the race. A spin instructor will lead you through a 20-minute workout tailored to your skill level with advice on gear tension and RPMs. Post-swim transition areas are equipped with volunteers ready to assist if needed. Once you're geared up, follow instructions from facility staff to begin the bike segment immediately after completing your swim. The final phase of the race is a track walk or run lasting 15 minutes. You'll be guided by marshals and encouraged to complete as many laps as possible within this timeframe. Spectators can cheer on participants during the swimming portion, while limited space makes it challenging for them to join in later stages due to venue capacity. After completing your triathlon, head to the lobby where you’ll receive a finisher’s bracelet and have the chance to enjoy a smoothie from Jugo Juice. This is also an excellent opportunity to celebrate with friends and family who are welcome guests throughout the event. The Winter Wonderland Indoor Triathlon promises a memorable experience filled with supportive staff, knowledgeable volunteers, and a community of athletes striving for personal bests. Don't forget essential gear such as towels, extra clothing, running shoes, water bottles, and any necessary medications to ensure you’re fully prepared for this indoor adventure.
