Start your adventure at 7:00 AM on the banks of the Connecticut River. The ride offers breathtaking scenery as it weaves through farmlands and past cascading waterfalls before crossing into Vermont via the charming Green River covered bridge near Greenfield. Continue along the West bank, then switch to the East bank, exploring picturesque landscapes that will leave you in awe. This not only promises a memorable cycling experience but also supports a noble cause. The event is organized by the Rotary Club of Amherst and benefits the Amherst Rotary Good Works Fund, providing local scholarships and funding for charitable programs in Hampshire County. For those wishing to make their participation even more meaningful, COVAC hosts the Special Olympics Massachusetts Extra Mile Cycling event. Last year's Kevin’s Krewe 2025 made a significant impact—31+ riders and over 330 donors raised an impressive $46,107.00 for Special Olympics Massachusetts. You can choose to ride solo or as part of a team, with the flexibility to fundraise if you wish. All donations go directly to your chosen charity or to the Rotary Club of Amherst Good Works Fund. Contributions made to this 501(c)(3) non-profit are tax-deductible. Ride for the joy and challenge, or join us in making a difference. Hatfield is a town in the English county of Hertfordshire 20 mi (32 km) north of London. It is perhaps best known as the location of Hatfield House, an historic stately home with strong royal connections that include Queen Elizabeth I.
