Copenhagen Coast Run 2027

About the Event

Copenhagen Coast Run welcomes runners and walkers to explore the scenic coastal landscapes just south of Copenhagen. This diverse race series offers options for all levels, including a full marathon, half marathon, 12 km run/walk, and a 5 km event.
The marathon route is designed as a mixed format where couples can choose between running, cycling, or combining biking with running using one bicycle per pair. The half marathon takes place entirely on foot, while the shorter distances cater to both runners and walkers. All routes traverse varied terrain featuring asphalt paths, gravel trails, and patches of grass.
Participants will start at different times: 09:00 for the full marathon (running, cycling, or bike & run), half marathon walking, Kalveboderne 12 km run/walk, and Valby Park 5 km event. The half marathon running begins at 09:30, followed by the Kalveboderne race at 10:00, and the final start for the 5 km distance is set for 10:15.
The course is meticulously marked and measured to meet DAF (Danish Athletics Federation) standards. Throughout the run, water stations are strategically placed—seven along the marathon route, four on the half marathon path, and one at Kalveboderne’s 12 km mark—to ensure participants stay hydrated during their journey.
All finishers receive medals and certificates to commemorate their achievement, while the top three competitors in each category will be awarded special prizes. This event promises an unforgettable experience for all who participate, immersing them in Copenhagen's picturesque coastal surroundings.
