Corpuscle Shuffle 5K Run/Walk

On race morning, participants gather under the clear blue sky with temperatures around 14 degrees Celsius, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for those out on the course. The event spans five kilometers of firm yet slightly soft terrain, featuring notable route markers at key intersections patrolled by volunteers from the Bettendorf Police Department to ensure safety and timely support.
The race layout includes mile markers, providing runners with clear visual cues throughout their journey. At the start line, participants will find themselves facing a warm front blowing in at an average of 13.8 kilometers per hour, which feels like a gentle breeze on race day. The course ends near Five Cities Brewing (2255 Falcon Ave, Bettendorf) where the brewery opens early for our awards ceremony and post-race party.
The Corpuscle Shuffle offers both a 5K run/walk and a shorter Sleep In option covering one mile or 1.6 kilometers. Both distances cost $33.75 to participate. For those seeking a more relaxed entry, the Sleep In distance allows participants to simply walk five kilometers for less than half the price.
