About the Event

On January 24, 2027, the heart of Vila Velha, Espírito Santo will pulse with energy as runners and walkers gather at Praça Duque de Caxias for an invigorating race day. The event features a challenging yet scenic course that winds through historic streets and past vibrant landmarks like Colégio Vasco Coutinho.
Participants can choose from three distances: the 10 km run, a slightly longer-than-standard 5.8 km option, or a leisurely 4 km walk. All routes begin and end at Praça Duque de Caxias in downtown Vila Velha, offering runners stunning views of colonial architecture and bustling city life.
Race day starts early with registration opening at 6:00 AM, followed by the first race start for the full distance run at 6:30 AM. The shorter races begin promptly at 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM respectively, ensuring a smooth flow of participants throughout the morning.
The course is well-supported with hydration stations every 3.5 km along the route, as well as medical assistance available at all times. Once you cross the finish line back in Praça Duque de Caxias, expect to be greeted by cheering crowds and post-race refreshments.
Competitors can look forward to official results posted on Chronomax's website within 48 hours of race day. Medals are awarded for various categories including overall male and female winners, age groups from under 25 up to over 70 years old, and a special PNE category for athletes with disabilities.
With limited spots available—1,500 for the races and 500 for walkers—early registration is recommended through www.ticketsports.com.br. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to experience Vila Velha's vibrant spirit while pushing your personal limits in a picturesque setting.
