CORRIDA DAS PODEROSAS 2026 - 3ª ETAPA

On November 1, 2026, the Aterro do Flamengo will come alive for the third stage of the Poderosas Circuit, known this year as "Circuito das Flores." The race offers distances of 10 kilometers and 5 kilometers for runners, along with a scenic 3-kilometer walk. Starting at 6:30 AM near the Monumento aos Pracinhas, participants will enjoy picturesque views of Rio de Janeiro's vibrant cityscape while running through lush green spaces.
The course features smooth asphalt paths lined with blooming flowers and historic monuments, offering runners an immersive experience in one of Brazil’s most iconic urban parks. Competitors can expect a flat terrain that is ideal for setting personal bests or simply enjoying the scenic route at their own pace. The event promises to be not only competitive but also celebratory, with vibrant music and enthusiastic crowds cheering along the way.
Participants will receive various race kits depending on their registration level, including options like the KIT SUPER PODEROSA which includes a shirt, shorts, backpack, visor, bib number, chip timing device, and post-race medal. Early bird discounts are available until September 10th for all kit types before prices increase or stocks run out.
Special accommodations are made for PCD (People with Disabilities) and seniors aged over 60 who receive discounted registration fees and tailored support throughout the event to ensure everyone can participate safely and enjoyably. For those interested in team entries, a minimum of ten athletes is required, offering an opportunity for groups to bond while racing or walking.
The race concludes with a rewarding ceremony featuring trophies awarded to the top five teams overall as well as medals presented to all finishers. Individual accolades include gender-specific awards across various age categories and general placement prizes in both 5K and 10K events, adding an element of competition for runners aiming to excel.
