Corrida de Boves 5KM

The 5 km race, part of the Amiens Métropole departmental championship and boasting a bronze label from FFA (French Football Federation), offers runners a challenging yet rewarding experience. The course is marked by two loops each covering 2.5 kilometers, winding through picturesque landscapes that showcase the natural beauty surrounding Boves.
Participants will start their journey at the designated starting line on rue du Général de Gaulle and complete one loop before returning to the finish area where a podium ceremony awaits for award winners. The race is chronometered with real-time updates ensuring accurate timing throughout your run, adding an element of excitement as you push yourself towards the finish.
A unique feature this year includes a new course that could potentially break records set by Etienne Nancel (14'55) and AUC Louise-Marie Thevenin-Lebran (18'16). If anyone manages to shatter these times, they will receive a generous 50€ prize.
On race day, the center of Boves is blocked off from vehicles starting at 2 p.m., ensuring safety for runners. However, ample parking options are available outside the course or on designated areas like rue des Déportés Résistants silo platform.
Race participants can collect their bib numbers in advance by visiting our partner store Foulées Boves between 2 and 5 p.m. the day before. On race day, you'll find registration open from 1 to 4 p.m. at the town hall of Boves; please avoid bringing your car as parking is limited.
Recreational facilities are available post-race for a celebratory atmosphere, with refreshments provided upon arrival and medical support by the Red Cross ensuring safety during the event. The evening will conclude with an awards ceremony in the local hall around 5 p.m., where you must be present to receive your prize or recognition.
