CORRIDA E CAMINHADA DE ARAUCÁRIA 2026

About the Event

On December 13, 2026, Araucária hosts the Corrida de Rua e Caminhada de Araucária, an inclusive community event that celebrates health and unity. Participants of all ages converge at Praça da Bíblia to run or walk through scenic routes that wind past local landmarks in Fazenda Velha. The race offers a 5km course for runners and a more relaxed 3km option for walkers, both starting promptly at 7 AM.
Children are also welcome with special kids' races tailored for different age groups: 100 meters for those aged 4 to 7 years old, and 200 meters for children between the ages of 8 and 14. The event is organized by the Prefeitura de Araucária in partnership with Assessocor Esportiva Unifacear.
Registration opens until December 6th or when slots are filled, offering two price tiers: a promotional rate from October 2nd to October 31st at R$39.90 plus site fees and a standard rate from November 1st to December 6th at R$49.90 plus site fees.
Participants receive an official race kit that includes a bib number, electronic chip for timing, hydration supplies, and a medal upon completion. While the event t-shirt is available as an optional purchase during registration, it's recommended to secure your size early due to limited availability in babylook, unisex, and children’s sizes from P to GG.
Join this vibrant community gathering where every step tells its own story of health and achievement.
