About the Event

On December 5, 2026, the picturesque town of Sancerre in France will host the annual Corrida Sancerroise. Nestled among rolling hills and vineyards renowned for their exquisite wines, this charming locale offers a stunning backdrop for runners of all levels.
The event features three distinct race categories designed to cater to various athletic preferences:
First up is La Débutante, an inviting 3.5-kilometer run that welcomes newcomers and casual joggers alike. This shorter distance provides the perfect introduction to competitive racing without overwhelming participants with a lengthy course.
For those seeking a bit more challenge but still desiring camaraderie, there's La Duo (Relais), a relay event where teams of two each tackle 3.5 kilometers on their own before handing off to their partner. This race fosters teamwork and mutual support as runners navigate the scenic countryside together.
Finally, for those who crave an additional test of endurance, participants can opt for La Corrida—a straightforward yet engaging 7-kilometer run that winds through Sancerre's historic streets and verdant landscapes. The course offers a blend of flat terrain and gentle inclines to keep runners engaged throughout the event.
Each race promises not only physical exertion but also an immersive experience in one of France’s most picturesque regions, making Corrida Sancerroise more than just a run; it's a celebration of local culture and natural beauty.
