COURSE DES SOURCES

After 15 years of organization by the local municipality, L'ASSOS has taken over the helm and is now overseeing the Course des Sources. This year's race promises to be an exciting venture through the picturesque Gicon Massif, a landscape rich with winding paths, single-track trails, and vibrant garrigue vegetation.
Participants will find themselves facing the imposing Mont Ventoux while enjoying panoramic views of the Rhône River as they navigate the challenging terrain. A highlight for this year is the introduction of two distinct courses: an 8km walk and a more demanding 14km run, both winding through the same scenic trails that have made this event beloved by runners and walkers alike.
The race starts with the first six kilometers shared among all participants regardless of their chosen distance. This allows for camaraderie as everyone sets off together before splitting into separate routes based on individual preferences.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the charming village once they finish, where cobblestone streets lead past historic landmarks such as a picturesque old mill, an ancient castle, and even a Roman theater. The event also includes a quaint chapel that adds to the rustic charm of this small town.
In addition to enjoying these sights, participants can take pride in knowing their entry fees will contribute to the fight against cancer, ensuring that part of each registration goes directly towards supporting important research efforts.
