The journey begins at the Vultures Amphitheater, leading you through a diverse 1-kilometer course that weaves its way through Europe's aviary, tunnels, an Okapi Sanctuary, Giraffe Camp, and Rhino Valley. The environment is both exotic and enchanting, providing a truly one-of-a-kind setting for your race. For the eighth edition of this event, four children’s courses will start near the giraffes, while three adult races of 10, 15, or 23 kilometers offer challenges suited to runners of all abilities. The atmosphere is festive and spirited, making it a memorable day out that also supports animal conservation efforts. Participation in this race contributes directly to protecting endangered species through partnerships with the Doué-la-Fontaine Bioparc. This year, for each adult race participant (10km, 15km, or 23km), an additional €2 is donated towards wildlife preservation projects. Children’s races have a smaller contribution of €1 per entry. Dress up and join in the fun by participating in the best-dressed runner contest! Prizes will be awarded to the most creative costume. Race day logistics are straightforward: pick up your race number on Saturday, November 14th from 3 PM to 6 PM or early Sunday morning before the start at 7:30 AM. A valid form of identification is required for this process. Remember, no disposable cups will be provided during the event; bring your own reusable cup for hydration stops!
