Course VTT Forges les Eaux 2026

On October 18, 2026, the Forges vélo's club will host a series of mountain bike races for riders of all ages and skill levels at the picturesque Bois de l'Epinay in Forges-les-Eaux. The event is open to both licensed and non-licensed participants who can present a medical certificate issued within the last three months.
The race categories range from young children aged 5 to 6, racing on a short course of just over half a kilometer for one lap at 11:10 AM, up through adult tandem teams tackling six laps around a five-kilometer circuit starting at 2:30 PM. Each category features unique distances tailored specifically to the age and experience level of its participants.
Riders in the Poussins category (ages 7-8) will compete on three laps covering approximately two kilometers, while Pupilles racers aged 9-10 years old will complete four circuits for a total distance of around three kilometers. Benjamins between 11 and 12 years old face five laps over the same course, adding another kilometer to their challenge.
Minimes (ages 13-14) start racing at 1:05 PM with two full-length five-kilometer circuits for a total of ten kilometers. Cadets in the age range of 15 and 16 will push themselves even further by completing four laps, totaling twenty kilometers on this challenging terrain.
The adult races begin early afternoon with Juniors (ages 17-18), followed by separate categories for women based on their ages: Females aged 21 to 40 compete in the A category and those over 41 race in the B division. Seniors, divided into two groups based on age—A from 21 to 30 years old and B from 31 to 40—are also part of the schedule.
The event concludes with three veteran categories for riders aged 41-50 (Vétérans A), 51-60 (Vétérans B), and those over 61 (Vétérans C). Each category features its own unique course layout, ensuring a fair and challenging race experience.
