EBC Sport, under the direction of Élodie Bellonville, presents an array of running and walking events for all ages at La Balme-les-Grottes. The festivities kick off with a 10 km nature race starting promptly at 9:00 AM, followed by a more relaxed 5 km nature run that begins at 10:00 AM. For those who prefer to take their time exploring the surroundings, there is also an untimed walking event covering 5 kilometers, allowing participants to start any time between 9:00 and 10:30 AM. The day's activities culminate in a fun-filled segment for young runners with two children’s races. The first race covers 500 meters starting at 11:00 AM, while the second is slightly longer at 1 kilometer, beginning just fifteen minutes later at 11:15 AM. All events start and finish at Parc de La Balme-les-Grottes on Rue des Mûriers. Race numbers can be collected directly from this location up to half an hour before each race begins. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the park’s scenic beauty, meet fellow runners, and get ready for a day of fun. Proceeds from the event will go entirely towards supporting cancer research efforts through local organizations dedicated to fighting against the disease. The races offer participants the chance to experience La Balme-les-Grottes' natural beauty while contributing positively to an important cause. Whether you're tackling the challenging 10 km course or taking part in one of the family-friendly events, there's something for everyone at this uplifting and community-driven event.
